Those textures are taking it to the next level. Really nice detail there.
Thanks. :) I got the basic underside paneling done, and now starting on the windows. I now decided to call the ship the Argonaut. It sounded better.

That could work. Trying not to get it confused with the shuttle from Nemesis.

Just thought I'd say, DJ named his TNG Ambassador the Argonaut.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

So much for that name. This thread is going to have to be cleaned up. I do like the other Argonaut names, Echion maybe? I could just go back to Coercion.

It can still be called Argonaut.  Doesn't bother me any. :)

Good point. Maybe the Ambassador Class Argonaut was destroyed prior/during the Dominion War, and was replaced by the Argo Class Argonaut :P

As much as I don't want to flood this thread with names, I have to say that as cool a name as Argonaut is, I feel a more, for lack of a better word, "intense" name should be used for this ship but not as off sounding as Coercion (not that Coercion is bad or anything like that).

I like the name U.S.S. Relentless. It sounds to me like it won't stop no matter how intense the battle or adversaries happen to be. And it won't stop for the pursuit of expanding the knowledge of space exploration and seeking out new civilizations....

I agree. it is going to be the next Argonaut ship- same registry as his refit Ambassador, but with a -A. Here's a view of the underside paneling.

Right on.  Looks good.  I like the panels that sweep forward from the aft and go towards the outsides.

I really like how this is coming along Wiley, I can't wait to see how you stylize the Deflector and the Nacelles.
Have a look at my website MeteorCreations

Gorgeous design. It's a small thing, and it may be down to the angle of the picture and curvature of the hull, but some of the lifeboats near the ... um... neck... under the chin, I suppose you could say... look a little stretched.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

I think it is just the angle of the picture.
