You should post orthographic pics of both types side by side for a comparison.

BTW, are these Hardpointed yet?
If hardpointing is not your thing I'd love to give it a try (if you want, of course).

I'll release them eventually. I'll do what everyone else is doing, upload to filefront, and give a link to my photobucket page containing pics- because one pic is not enough.

I'm currently using a modified Hawkeye Sovereign hardpoint that works very good. There are still a few bugs to work out. The FC Enterprise is using a cleaned-up version of the quantum torpedoes I used for the Proteus, and new photon torpedoes that look really close to the ones firing from the Akira ship in FC (sfx from FC as well). The Nemesis version will have different weapons than the FC version.

One step closer to the Post-Nemesis variant. I'm very excited to see that.

You should show these to John Eaves, especially the Post-Nemesis version. I'm sure he would love to see the awesome work you have done to his baby.

you might want to use the JLS hardpoint for the nemesis sovy. its pretty damn close to nemesis.

All aft torps should have been pulse firing though.

One thing though, in the second image the phaser strips on the pylons look a bit warped and the top end seems to have been cut off at an angle. Could just be the angle of the shot though.

Already have and received permission to use said hardpoint.

It's probably just the angle. It looks fine ingame.

I actually make all photon launchers pulse firing and script the quantum launcher to be a normal torpedo tube. I do this because we never see the quantum's being fired in rapid volley on screen in either DS9 or the films.

The Sovereign-class was never seen in DS9. I'm happy that the quantums are pulse-based and the photon torpedoes are regular torpedoes. You can do whatever you want in your own personal install, or you can upload an optional hardpoint with the changes. I'm happy with what I already have.
