Wiley, I believe the Enterprise was, for some reason, at warp for the rest of the film. That moment when the ship appeared to "exit" warp was actually the ship arriving at the cruising velocity of Warp 7. Weird, makes no sense, but there you go.

Well Wiley, I believe that V'Ger was traveling at warp speed, so the Enterprise should be at warp in order to keep up with it. Again, it doesn't really make sense with how warp is portrayed through the rest of the movies and tv shows.
Wiley if people are so concerned why not include an extra Enterprise ID map with the activated impulse engines? But I think she is fine as is!
EDIT: Speaking of inconsistencies, those pics you put up have some really odd ones with the aft windows.
I'll see what I can do.
I realize that. Stationary and with warp glows....http://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp2/tmphd1301.jpghttp://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp2/tmphd1342.jpghttp://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp/themotionpicture0759.jpghttp://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp/themotionpicture0862.jpgAnd impulse glow changes color (similar to deflector)http://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp2/tmphd0758.jpghttp://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp/themotionpicture0860.jpghttp://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/tmp/ch29/themotionpicture1353.jpgI guess it will be personal preference.
She's gorgeous Wiley, should keep nitpickers quiet for a while
I'm having something of a crisis.
I personally don't care. This is the best ship ever created for BC quite frankly.Wiley if people are so concerned why not include an extra Enterprise ID map with the activated impulse engines? But I think she is fine as is!
