one question.

Does it come in black? (Sorry couldn't resist just watched dark knight lol)

Love the new neck love the ship. What sort of weapons will she have? one thing i do love about your ships as well is the unique torpedoes they comes with. the pulse phasers and photons on the Argonaut for example and i squeed when i fired the torpedoes on the akira and heard that torpedo sound that was in first contact lol.

Love it!! Is this a replacement for the Excelsior? From the fore and aft, it has the rough outline of the Enterprise-B and looks very Excelsior-ish. I also like how the next isn't really a neck in the traditional sense, it's much more integrated into the secondary hull. Take a cookie.

Not yet. The yacht is not yet ingame, but the ship is. (see BC screenshot thread)

Those windows, ditto what was said above. This is a really awesome and ingenious design and production. I generally don't go for non-canon, mostly because so many designs never stand apart from each other, but you really have an exceptional ship here.

Well, the ship parts have been converted, but I may need help with using MVAM for the multiple parts.

Polaris (full ship)
Polaris (full ship, without yacht)
Saucer
Saucer (without yacht)
Stardrive
Yacht

If anyone can help with working out the MVAM to get all of the parts to work , please send me a PM.

agreed it'd be great to have one as the USS EXCELSIOR NCC 2000-B.

Eh, already got an Excelsior-A, and I think DJ did it proud. Just cause he's not around anymore doesn't mean we should forget his stuff. ;) Let Wiley decide what to do with this beauty.

After someone complained about how many ships were just Federation and no aliens, a lot of people pointed out how everyone does this for fun and all that, and DJ made a long, detailed post but I believe the gist of it was essentially that he'd put so much into this site keeping this old game alive and he felt that it may have been time for him to bow out at the top of his game. Frankly, I respect his decision, though a selfish part of me wishes that he had finished his WIPs before leaving us.

Back on topic now guys. Wiley, I'm not sure, but I haven't seen a three-stage MVAM done where you can just separate one section at a time like what you're wanting to do.

It does, he threw up a nice shot in the screenshot thread. I think Wiley's still trying to sort out the MVAM stuff and that's why we haven't heard anything else thus far. Or he's cooking something up for this contest thing.
