I'll try to make the best hardpoint, based on what we know so far.  Anyone can fix the hardpoint when more reference is available.

Sorry, but you are the 5th or 6th person who gave links to that site.  I already have it.  I know exactly how I want this hardpoint, and this hardpoint is difficult to make.

Sounds like you're in for a joy ride Wiley. Good luck!

I'm about halfway done with the HP.  I learned how to make my own soundpacks, and I edited down the sfx file for the small plasma cannons.  This hardpoint will be the basis of other kitbashes of the same ship.

Just out of curiosity, will the turrets stay on the hull regularly or will there be a MVAM cutscene sort of deal where the turrets pops out?

The turrets will always stay on the hull.  MVAM will probably be difficult to do.  I like to keep it simple.

Probably the best thing.

Also, I'd like to throw in my 2 cents on the "Kelvin-prise" vs the "JJ-prise".  The JJPrise is, obviously, a technological response to the changes to the timeline.  The Kelvin-prise, on the other hand, is more like what a prototype Constitution might have looked like around the Kelvin's time frame.  Perhaps the Constitution herself once looked similar.  After all, the Kelvin is a really good technological progression between the NX-01 and the 1701, no matter which time-line.

I'm looking forward to seeing fat red lasers firing out the Kelvin!

Small update- The Kelvin's hardpoint is mostly complete, and I now have the Kelvinprise working ingame.  My new soundpack works great with no problems.

I agree with DJ... I think that the Kelvin-prise would have been a really good model to use for the ship in the upcoming movie!

I hope the Kelvin-prise gets released. Well, along with every other ship in this thread.

Wiley did say:

I'll release it separately.
