I was inspired by the starship ads in Kirks GA thread, so I created an ad based on a Saab ad on the back of an aviation magazine, then one thing lead to another, I ended up designing the cover art, then using it all in a rendered scene.

Hey Aces, is that a Dragon Fighter from Wing Commander 4 I see in the front cover?

It is a Banshee Fighter from a fanfic I read called Star Trek: Banshee Squadron.  the author had mentioned that it was loosely based on something from Wing Commander, but I didn't have the game so I had no idea it was so similar.  In his fanfic it's a light interceptor, what is it in Wing Commander?

The Dragon in Wing Commander is pretty much the most advanced fighter in the game. It's a good game, too, I miss playing it. I do believe I saw an unfinished Wing Commander ship pack on BCF somewhere.

Hey Wiley, this isn't my work, but I thought you might like to see it. I'm a fan of this guy's work, and this is no exception.
