And he credits me correctly. :yay: My ships are looking better than the ones made for ingame movies for various Trek games. Those vids are so cool! :dance
Dude, you models are the closest thing to CGI models used for movies, Legacy failed with it's models just like STO or any other ST game, with models like your Excelsior, STO/ Legacy looks like done by 3 years old child who don't know how to use crayons ;)

yeah in 2002... for a 2007 or is it 2008 game he could at the very least bring em up to date (look at SNS Galaxy, CG Sovereign, LC Ambassador or Intrepid etc.) the fact that BC legend made them doesn't change the fact that those models are simply old for 2008 standards compared to models we had for years (already mentioned Scothy's or LC's work). Rick Knox's models were good in 2004 but in Legacy they look extremely outdated IMHO...

Actually DJ doesn't allow ports, especially legacy ports, I'm surprised those haven't been taken down yet, does DJ know?

It is a Banshee Fighter from a fanfic I read called Star Trek: Banshee Squadron.  the author had mentioned that it was loosely based on something from Wing Commander, but I didn't have the game so I had no idea it was so similar.  In his fanfic it's a light interceptor, what is it in Wing Commander?

The only think that I can see wrong with this is the hanger door looks smaller than the ship?

yeah, it was a quick render, I just threw it in a Prefab shuttlebay set I had on hand, it's also way too big for the elevator it's sitting on, and I had to move the deck lights to fit the wingtips

It's nice to see my models being used out in the real world.  Thanks!  :)

I have to say, it's an awesome design, and you are an awesome artist, Banshee Squadron is what inspired me to buy Poser and start rendering stuff like this.

Messing around with the SSV Normandy SR-2 from the epic game Mass Effect. (The animation is actually mostly to show off the cool logo I did in After FX :D )

Something tells me the Agincourt (and all present onboard) survived that tachyon rift thingymabob that nearly destabilised Romulus in the RP. :P

Been a while since I've browsed the art section. I'm always spending my time making models and posting greyscale WIP renders; how about a little example of what Blender can really do...
Of course, credit to DJ's Galaxy and NASA's planet maps.
