Looks pretty awesome on my end, Eclipse.

Heres one I named after a former girlfriend. Still needs a bit of work, but its mostly a test of a star close-up. USS Krakow by Bones.

So, you've never been around any calender section at any store in the last 10+ years? They go back at least that far.

nope.  the calander place shows up for christmas holidays, and concentrates on critters and comic strips, not sci-fi.  there's almost no reason for them to show up, anyway.  the local mall has been turned into what pretty much amounts to a Women's fashion boutique, due to the owner of said mall pandering to the local bedroom community of doctors and/or their wives.  there are literally about 20 women's clothing stores in our mall.  there is now a grand total of ONE minor chain store (GameStop) to go with two majors (sears/JCPenneys).  and since GameStop concentrates solely on the current generation of consoles and only sells new, I have no reason to go there, anymore.  even the bookstore is long gone.

I'm from a rural community where the big-boy around here is a walmart supercenter that's driving all the supermarkets out of business.  there's no sci-fi around here.

I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me."

that last one is for my fan fic, but not for a couple episodes, here's one I came up with to close out the episode I'm working on now.x
It'll appear much smaller on the page, so hopefully the photoshopping won't be as obvious.

and yes I know those windows don't match the ones on the model there, I was kinda limited by what I had available for the messhall/crew lounge set.

The way I imagined the shot was that if it were a movie, the camera would zoom out from the window, kinda like the shot at the end of the DS9 Finale.

This episode serves as kind of a relaunch for my fanfic series.

The adventure is only just beginning.

I raised the lighting in the room to more closely match the lit windows on the model.

"That does not look like any jet I've ever seen..."

This was a test using Ozone, a 3ds Max plugin that creates realistic atmospheres. Sovereign by CG. Probably needs a bit more work on it.

Blurrrrrr.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."
