BC Multiplayer Script Checker Issue

Today I experienced something that shouldn't happen. I have a clean KM 1.0 install and connected with a host who's tags indicated that it was also a clean KM 1.0 install. When I entered the turkey shoot match, I noticed that the starbase was taking damage and that the ai were shooting at an invisible enemy. When I questioned the host as to what they were shooting at, he stated that they were firing on a ship from the BSG ship pack. How did I connect? Shouldn't there have been a file mismatch? If desired, I can pack up my scripts directory and post them here, or host it elsewhere. Also, I will have video footage soon. How is this possible?

Indeed.

Unsure as to why this could happen.
And have you been able to reproduce it?
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Not yet, I will have to hook up with that user again and see if I can. Also, the video, no matter how I compress it is too big. I'll need to talk to cord about that.

Its not that hard to understand.aslong as the ship pack you use has file names that arnt the same as the ones in your game.you can use them in turkey shoot.In order for the other players to see them thay need to instal the same ship pack & ships just make sure you dont use ships with the same PY or PYC file names as your KM PY or PYC files. I incourage others to get the BSG ship pack as well as future time line federation ships thay add a twist to the game.SO all you need is the same ship packs that i use.If you get these ship packs i will spawn a ship for you to fly in my server & we can try them out together

Are these ships playable?
Or just for shooting?

What won't work defiant? I do have video proof (I just haven't uploaded it yet) that that he has used a BSG ship in a TKY match.

But you will never see it as a BSG Ship.
