No biggies there EDD!  I'm sure we can get them together :).

I STILL need to HP the original though...once I do that this thing can be called finished!

Though if you will could you post the names and registries of each ship and which one goes to which Luna (SS or Regular).  Might make things easier for me if you catch me drift :D

Alright, got the DefaultID_glow texture finished, which includes the Slip Stream textures...should be interesting :D.

I never realized working on HP's was this difficult!!!  BUT one has to learn!!!!

Another thing I have to learn how to do...SCALE...:S

use an Xform modifier to change the scale on the model, otherwise it wont affect anything

you use an Xform modifier on the model to do any kind of scaling, otherwise you can scale the model without it all you wish and aint a durn thing gonna change when the model goes ingame.. unless i mis read what kind of scaling your attempting?

So what you're saying Is I can scale her correctly in MAX But it won't show up in game unless I use an xform modifier?  I just scaled the Titan (first version) in 3.1 and everything seems fine, albeit I have to modify the HP I'm using considering I moved the ship to 0 on all axis. (I like things centered)

EDIT:  Ok, I just used an XForm modifier in Max 8 with the slip stream version and WOW...100% easier LOL thanks Cy!

Well, slip stremed Luna is now converted and in game...I'm going to work on the original Luna's HP first though to get her up and running.  Then I'll blank the Default ID Texture and work on making her SDT ready (Skinning and Damaging tool).

Well, I'm having a bit of trouble with the HP LOL Mostly I'm a noob at MPE  But It's nothing but trial and error for me so eh...

I'm surprised though because I feel I've got the ship scaled properly but the HP I'm modifying as my own well seems a bit...smaller :S

do you have another luna HP you can plug in just to check if the scaling IS correct?

No, the only Luna Class' released for BC were this one and this one Both use the same Model....

my scaling isn't the problem...mostly because I've scaled it to DJ's galaxy class and CG's Sovereign (I used CG's escape pods as reference)  The HP from the first Luna is the one I'm using as reference.  I plan on deleting and adding some things to it and making it my own.

However I might need help with balancing...as I've never done this before LOL

ANOTHER EDIT:  The top saucer is going to be a problem...mostly due to the phaser array's weird shape...any suggestions?

Possibly split the dorsal phaser HP up into sections?

EDIT:  I've sent the model to an experienced HP'er, I can't for the life of me figure out where I messed up on the Phasers...

The arc looks as though it's going all the way around the dorsal saucer...(could be that I've used 3 arcs instead of like 6 or 7 that most people use)

Hopefully this will get finished soon and hopefully I can work on the Slipstream Varient.

Thanks Edd, working on new textures now :D

EDIT:  Well...I just got school'd...I never knew Miranda was a Uranus moon....

ah.... so that's why Miranda probed UrAnus in Mass Effect 2  :funny :funny :funny

USS Cracov NCC-82328
why not making her another ship to bear the name, I mean we had Krakow name (that's how it's originally spelled) already on that PDW Excelsior refit, full name was USS Krakow NCC-71928 so Luna would have USS Krakow NCC-71928-B ;)
