Thanks, I am considering doing a FC Pack, with the exception of the Akira...I have Red Dragon's Norway, the Sabre I still haven't heard back from Queball, but other than that, These two are all that are on my list for the time being, and I may release the Sovereign Pack (Since I already have an HP P$YCHO made for me a while back) before I do the FC Pack :).  Now if I can learn MPE and get the Steamrunner HP'ed...

UPDATE:  been pretty busy getting my life together and whatnot, so I haven't really had much time to work on the Sovereign or the Steamrunner.  I'm adding phasers to the Steamrunner, and I've started working on the windows on the Saucer of the Sovereign.  Other than that things are slow, I'm still pushing for another year and a half of work on this :).

I'll be posting screenies shortly of this beauty, she's turning out quite well.  Windows are a real pain in the arse to get right...

Would anyone here like to help me make a First Contact ship pack?  How many people would LIKE a FC Ship pack?  I'm going to start a poll :)

I don't need an HP for the Sovereign, but I could use a HP'er for the other ships ;).  If you're up to the challenge, would you like to help Bones?  I'm planning on retexturing RD's Steamrunner, Norway, and I might go with his Sabre since I have not heard anything from Queball about using his Sabre.  I plan on making most of these ships SDT Ready.

Would anyone here like to help me make a First Contact ship pack?

If only I had time for a project like that... I would normally LOVE to. Unfortunately I've already fallen behind with the Avenger... I promised Luke renders for it, but never got to it. Grawr. x.x; Oh well. All I can really do is model, anyways... at like... 4563407603948645609873456 polies. xD

lol that's four so far who'd love an FC pack :P.  If there's a lot more who want it, I will definitely change the subject to FC Pack 1.0 ;).

I'll agree with that one Bones, but I'm trying to texture the sabre to the color codes I'm using with the Sovereign, same with the Steamrunner and the norway :).  But yeah, that'd be great!

I think with this progressing to be a ship pack, it should have the cannon torpedoes from First Contact.  They were a bit yellowish weren't they?  And they did have the flares (unlike CG's Torps, no offense :) I do love those torpedoes, but they're strictly Nemesis, I don't recall them in Insurrection)

Are you talking about the quantums or the regular photons?

Photons, Quantums are ace as far as accuracy for FC :).  P$YCHO made the hardpoints for 1.0 of the Hawkeye Sovereign Pack.  While this is an overhaul to the model (Adding ID maps and such), I've retextured most of the ship, I'm still using the HP that he supplied for the Hawkeye Pack, minus a few torpedo launchers (mostly the bridge and a couple on the back).  But I'm planning on using a different Photon instead of the one supplied for CG's 1.0

I think I have somwhere FC photons made by Zambie Zan and they look pretty canon to me they came with SNS Akira also they have FC photons sound tho it's not so perfect cuz it's cut badly in the end probably cuz there was too much background noise

I'll check into that :)

By the way, for those of you who are voting, I'd like to know why you like or why you don't like the idea of an FC pack, curiosity kills the cats more often than not, I'm not trying to upset anyone :).

I love the idea of a First Contact Pack. You can never have too many First Contact ships, especially considering there is no canon FC Sovereign available currently. In my opinion the FC Sovereign is much better looking and sleeker than the Nemesis Sovereign. For some reason, the nacelles were moved forward and upwards slightly and it ruins the profile of the ship. And some of those extra torpedo launchers just don't make any sense location-wise. The dual launcher above the main entranceway just doesn't look right. How can there be a torpedo launcher there when there is absolutely no space for the length of the launchers or their corresponding magazine? This same problem applies to the single launchers above and below the aft shuttlebay.
