As promised a photo of at least a dozen windows that I've drawn up so far, and I've added detail around the Phaser banks and escape pods...

I've been working on the Nacelles a little, I'm going to add the spotlight soon as well, and finish it off sometime next week :).  Right now it's bedtime for this boy :P

Will this include the Millenium Falcon?
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

For a moment I thought you were being off topic but then remebered the little "spoof" in FC. Probably not though as I'm guessing we're going for canon in this pack.

Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

No,
Ultimately I want to include the Norway, Sovereign, Steamrunner, and Sabre class (Scotchy did a hell of ajob on the Akira).  If Queball gives me permission to use his sabre (no jokes please) I'll go with that as it's a fairly good model and easily maliable to use SDT...the others are proving difficult with the exception of the Sovvy

Eclipse, you've got one more vote for a pack from me.
I'll check into that :)

By the way, for those of you who are voting, I'd like to know why you like or why you don't like the idea of an FC pack, curiosity kills the cats more often than not, I'm not trying to upset anyone :).

The more, the merrier, right?
The only bad thing that could possibly happen if we have too many ships in our installs is not being able to find them in the menus...

Which is why I'm considering making a new ship menu called "First Contact Pack" :) would save a lot of trouble

Maybe submenus for the different races, that would work better with galaxy charts, also, I have so many ship menus that they are getting hard to find, too. (of course I added about 5 of them)
but Submenus would be excellent...maybe I'll do a huge submenu classification thingy in my free time.

I'm taking a couple more votes then locking the poll.  From the looks of it, a FC pack is gonna be born...hopefully this won't take too long lol.

Ok, so I've remapped the top rear of the nacelles...so that I could add a fake "raised" detail where the actual blinkies will go.  I have to say it doesn't look too awfully bad.  I haven't had much time to get a screenie lately, but I will sometime soon :).  BTW, I'm taking more votes since not everyone got to vote....but it seriously looks like this will be a FC Pack.  I'm currently working on a banner too for this one :D

Question: Will you be using blinkers or modeled in lights?

Good, I was hoping you'd use Nano blinkers.

I'm working on the Nacelles and the ID texture, so far I've gotten the USS Columbia ingame :).  Will post pictures soon!  I'm still working hard on getting the Sovvy done, but in my spare time that i'm tired of working on that, I am also working on the Steamrunner.  If anyone wants to help with the texturing, let me know :)  It would make the process go much faster :D

As soon as I have some issues with my new HDD sorted out I'll start retexturing Norway and maybe even Sabre (mainly unify color schemes especially hull and windows as well as refreshing textures to make them clean and up to date) I'm running on backup 40GB HDD with only Win XP + Firefox installed ;)

Great to hear.  Though I have to warn you I want 1024x1024 as I'd like to keep them where everyone including low-end systems can play them :).  We have excellent Borg ships too so I'm not gonna worry with those.
