Gene Roddenberry's "Andromeda Ascendant" Ship Pack

Hi everyone. I'm new here so I thought I'd start by hello.

I was pretty excited to hear that someone was in the process of creating an Andromeda ship pack for BC. I didn't get to see this series (except for a few episodes here and there) back when it originally aired, as it was on a station that I could not get at the time. The few episodes I did see really didn't impress me all that much back then as I didn't know the back story for the show, plus I had a hard time taking Kevin Sorbo seriously after previously seeing him in that ridiculous Hercules series, which as far as I am concerned is right up there with Power Ranges as one of the most pointless shows ever made. However, I recently got whole Andromeda series on DVD and have been watching it straight through from the beginning (I'm now half way though season 3), and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. One of the things I've kept thinking is that there are so many cool ships in this show, it?s a shame that someone hasn't built at least some of them for playing in BC...so I started looking around to see if someone had. I already had the Andromeda Ascendant available at http://bridgecommander.filefront.com, and I also found a (albeit not very accurate) mesh of a Nietzchian Leviathan Roused Class Attack Carrier created for the Starfleet Command game which I was able to convert for use in BC, but that was all I had ever previously seen. So as I said, I was very pleased to hear that someone was working on a whole pack of ship from this series; but it now appears that this thread is dead/inactive as the last post was made almost 6 months ago. So I was just wondering if there is any recent news about or updates for this project?

since this is your first post, I'll be easy on you, It's considered rather impolite to ask an author for an update, Especially if you are bumping a thread that hasn't been posted on in a very long time.  When they're ready to post something, I'm sure they will.

Well, it's nice to know that someone is still interested in this pack but I'm afraid I must say that this project has sort of gone into a coma. I've had a lot to deal with (finishing off other projects which I've left on the backburner and reality stuff as well) and there's also a lot I still have to learn modding-wise (such as modelling, mapping and texturing) and I've only made a bit of progress in that respect. I would love to finish this pack off but maybe in a more "from scratch" method.
