Phoenix's Oberth Pack
« on: February 27, 2009, 09:13:12 PM »
Hi guys, i know us legacy lot aren't all that welcome here, but so far my best achivement in legacy has been my oberth ship's, and i would like to share them with the bridge commander comunity. I have a new tos one in the works so wont be including the bad ones from legacy i made, and also some pics of a WIP Late TNG Oberth.

Firstly i would like to ask if someone would mind hping the model's for me.

Secondly opinions on the Late TNG oberth *its a rebuild like a refit or somthing* These pics are older then the updated textures and i've made the alpha channels a lot better

ok first off is the Guardian Refit

Next is the Classic Oberth its self

and then the medical ship

Ok now onto the new oberth refit

With these i would like some input please, i'm not sure wat colour code to go for, ie the main ship colour. this tmp are more blueish but then the ent e is more grey lol. any help/suggestions or coments are apricated also a big thanks to marky D for the nacels

Nix

I like the refit. That looks pretty spiffy for an Oberth class. Though, one refit I would like to see is an Oberth with a AWACs dish underneath the bottom of it instead of the usual sensor pod, etc. (If it hasn't been done by Starforce 2 yet :P) that way it would make a great little reconnaissance and scout. Fitted with a bit better phasers and shields though.

That could be done quite easliy enough with any of the two type of oberths

I'd like to see one with a vertical neck, not the V shape.  According to Ex Astris Scientia, the turbolift would have to go slanted through the pylon to get to the pod.

Those nacelles should be a bit fatter, they look odd since the Original Oberth Nacelles are shorter and a bit wide.

nice work. I've seen some of your stuff at stl and I really need to go back and start browsing..need something to keep me busy till battlestations pacific in april.

Also, if you are interested in oberths for tng and don't want a cloned tmp with different nacelles I do have a couple of designs you may want to consider, but what you have above is great so keep going. Ofcourse if you need hp's I've got tmp hp's that can be used..basicly once in nif I could have them playable in 15 min, if you wanted ofcourse.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

The textures look like they're getting a tad fuzzy. What resolution are they?

Nice work overall here though :)

Three of some of the best around here at the moment, for sure. Haven't seen Brex in AGES though. in any case, looks like you'll be becoming a bit of a focus of attention here soon. Good work so far.

Modesty...lol love it

Looks good.  I'd go with the latter TNG codes like on the sovereign
