it's a great start. Atleast those legacy designs wont be wasted on a bad game afterall.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

heh didn't P81 make some of the legacy models :?:
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

I didn't know the Oberth was as old as the NX...  :?

Maybe we can get it retrofitted into something from TMP?

Apparently that's already been done. The mesh is very nice though!

I meant HP wise, the ship dates from before TOS, so it would have a low HP, so update it with current HPs, making it a scout or something along the lines of that. Give it slightly strong shields followed by slightly weaker weapons, maybe enough to defend it self from ships around its size or a little bigger but able to run away from fights?

Legacy burns. Take it away!

But, I like your rendition of the Strider. I'll be looking forward to the finished product.

I've you plan on 're-doing' anymore ships from Legacy (shudder!), I hope one of them will be a new model of this.

The ship may be tos or pre tos but this one is being made as a tmp version.

Nice model, Phoenix (cookie). Yea, the Strider really had to be redone. But I would make those windows on the saucer smaller. The stock model has also smaller windows...but if you like it this way, you can keep it of course ;) I also made a few changes for my model.

Talking about the design: It uses parts of TMP (Oberth: nacelle, Excesior: pylons, texturing) and ENT (texturing). And in Legacy it's available in the ENT era...typically Legacy...

gdata I sent ya an email, did ya get it?

I'd really like to get your version too, but I think a thin saucer phaserbank (and/or tmp phaser pods) should be added to the saucer because it looks unarmed. Unless it's a freighter it should have some visable phasers and maybe a torpedo or 2 even if those details aren't in the original.  You could consider the phaserbanks like on the suez or the denis baily concorde too if you think a full sized wraping phaserbank would be too much for it.

The Strider is using Pulsephasers. But don't let us hi-jack Phoenix' thread...I replied to your email.
