who here can open them and with what?
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

I haven't tried it but *.dds is listed in the "open file" window of Paint.net. I also think there exists
a plugin for Gimp.

IIRC, dds' are also automatically converted to tga's when opened in Milkshape, or that's me getting embedded nif tga's mixed up.

(I can open with PS CS2/4 and Irfan)
