tomorrow i will finish the front rim, and map the main hull  :)  Yay

little more today, I now have the hull mapped and mirrored neatly, started to texture some shapes on it, the colours are far off but at this point i just want there positioning and scale etc.

Ok guys a very minor bit of detail added, again to get comfortable with the shapes and colours, wont have allot of time to work on this as I am about to deploy to Afghan shortly, so I will see what I can get done before I go.

I'm a tad rusty mind you. Up until i was 8 years old I only spoke welsh..no english...
I never thought I live to see the day I met a welsh speaking squaddie who was also a trek aficionando! and did modelling too.

If I remember correctly "ydw" is more "i agree" than a simple "yes", "awr" means "hour" not "now".

Back on topic, do you guys reckon those deflector fins need to be darker? it does not look right still  :(

I don't think so. I think that the center white bit is too bright and doesn't seem to be touching the tips of the black fins in the screen caps about 2 pages ago.
Shrink the white bit and darken it very slightly I'd say.
