The front of the neck seems to break the flow of the ship, in that side view. How about making it run further along the bottom of the saucer a bit?

changing the neck at this point would require a complete rebuild on the saucer and mess up the star drive section.

I will fatten the saucer up but I am happy with the over all look.

even better... i'm realy liking this design baz :)

i agree slightly about the saucer impulse engines but still looks good (maybe make some grills for the vents... to make it look bit different) but its your ship and it looks good :D

Not quite the same though. Those ones have a bit more of a flow to them.

I think those nacelle pylons are too sharply angled for a ship so sleek?

That's freaky how similar it is! Right down to the warp field coils wrapping around the nacelle.

Baz, did I miss the post where you said you'd based your design on this?

The texture needs re-aligning, but I like how it looks so far. Can you make a texture that looks more Galaxy-like?
