That looks fantastic.  However, I don't buy it as the Enterprise.  Especially since Robert April isn't canon.  My suggestion, name it the Farragut NCC-1647.  The Farragut's low registry has always made me disbelieve the idea that it could be a Constitution class like the Enterprise.  However, as a Constitution prototype?  I think it could work.

when and where was it ever stated the animated series is part of canon?
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

well before this gets in to a debate I'll pipe up. I always see captian April as canon and I'm building this ship so my word is final :dontcare: :P, therefore this ship will be named Enterprise.

This ship will be released in due time need some tweaks prior to release.

The inclusion of certain elements of TAS, into the TOS Remastered episodes sort-of made part of TAS canon. Such as the Vulcan city seen in the "Amok Time" remastered episode, or Antares ship in "Charlie X" remastered.

Baz I like everything about that model except for two things: the impulse engines, and the warp reactor pod. I think the pod is unnecessary (and gets too close to STOs "Sovereign" :P) and the impulse engines would look better with the nx styled grilles in a tos type enclosure.

I agree on losing the pod, but I do not agree with the "It looks like STO's Sovereign" part, the Sovereign in STO is pretty close to canon, and no ship in Star Trek Online has said pod, except one concept drawing of the Noble Class.

I like it, but don't see it being an Enterprise...

I agree with Kirk. Perhaps if you could integrate that pod into a position on the saucer similar to the TMP deflector crystal?

I Like impulse engine as it is and may loose the warp field governer altogether.

In the mean time I have dusted the JJrefit off. Still not final textures but getting there.
