Wife and child home for the first time today. Had to stay in a extra day due to a little jorndus.

Both ok, and happy to be home. Took a venture out to the supermarket and she was mostly settled, though trying not to overload her on her first day out.

Maybe it appears to me too havy, because the rest ist not jet textured. :hithead: Lets see what baz is going to do next.

but if this is a jjverse ship then its going to be better armoured because of the recent threats that starfleet have suffered through. so that panelling could be armour :D

also @Baz: looking good mate, i love the original excelsior, and i bet i'll love this one two. and i love your textures too.

And don't forget that the new ships' warp cores are closer to the dorsal section now.

Heya Baz, is your mapping clean and aligned properly for the neck area? I ask because at some of the angles you've rendered, the blue line looks fine on one, but wavy and distorted for others?

It is the contour of the neck, I tried to mirror the jjprises neck a little.

Also on a sad note the TNG galaxy style project is dead. For some reason I cannot find the max file of it, and my back up copy is a very older version (no saucer at all). I still have the texture files an may try and rebuild but time is short and loats more stuff to finish.
