I don't think it can be expressed more fully than how Lionus did.  Really great D7 there, I can't see a single thing wrong with her. :D

thanks guys, just a shame the paint job is so bland, I may add some panelling similar to the TOS Connie.

Anyway I have done a little more on the Enterprise. Nearly there just a coluple of things to tweak.

I call dibs on the K'tinga!  :funny

It is all yours my friend.

Wow, that k'tinga was fast     Are you going for TMP paint job,  or TOS?

The D7 as seen on DS9 had a more detailed hull pattern.  Perhaps you could do something like that?  It's basically a K'tinga style pattern but far more subdued.

The D7 and the K'tinga are differnet classes of ship.

I know, but the ship seen in Trials and Tribulations was a D7 but it was a new model created for the episode, so they took some creative liberty and added some lines on her hull.  Ex Astris has photos of the original TOS model and you can see she had ZERO lines.  She was quite flat white lol.

and I thought a K'Tinga was the equivelant of the TMP enterprise...a refit.

Well in the world of Baz1701 the K'tinga is a upgraded Replacment from the D7.

I am going for a TOS paint scheme. Though it appears blue on screen it is in fact a selection of pale greens.

Here is the scheme thus far, not sure about the nacelle glow...opinons?

Hmm, nacelle glow, red [although green looks good, but when I think red I think Klingons, I think green , think rommie [or borg]

Green is actually Canon to TOS :)

This is shaping up excellently Baz!

I say continue with the green for now and build the rest of the textures around it.  If it turns out later on that green doesn't fit, swap it out with another color.

I second that. Wonderful work thus far!

Green is canon for klingon battlecruisers.

Is that nacelle glow final or will you be adding more details to it? If you're detailing it, might I suggest a sort of gradiant and some type of grating overlay? If I recall correctly klingon ships have grates over most things, for whatever reason XD

I have a suggestion for the K't'inga - make it a Baz/Wiley joint project. *grin*

I agree with the notion that the K'Tinga is a refit of the D7. On a side-note, since it seems you're going for the TOS-R look, I'd just like to ask; weren't the impulse engines blue, rather than purple?

I also put forward the idea for a Romulan D7 texture (As seen in 'The Enterprise Incident' TOS-R) Just a thought  :P Looks brilliant Baz, keep up the great work.

Once this and D7 are done, what's next? If you continue on TMP line, perhaps new TMP Constellation class would be in order.  :angel
