It's so dark. It could be Batman's ship.

Looks great.

That still is one strange ship. I would tone down the blue a bit. Good work so far!

What a slapdash and nonsensical platypus.  It looks as though they built the thing of Lego and cinder blocks.  It is by far, without question and beyond argument the least inspired and poorest design for a Federation starship to ever be on the screen.  JJ must have had it planned by a team of blind four year old children locked in a hot room with bears.  No part of that ship has the appeal of anything in excess of a millipede.  It has no nacelles, only branches.

I hate it.

I respect you, Baz, for tackling this, the Jocelyn Wildenstein of starships.  A tip of the hat, then. :salute3:

I think the clunky unpleasing look is intentional.  The F-117 and its awkward... everything... comes to mind.  She's not pretty, and she's not supposed to be.  Maybe this is one ship to call a he.

(Actually, that's fitting considering the male computer voice.)

Indeed.  This ship is built for one purpose, and one purpose only, and that's to wage war.  This ship is a giant club, not a scalpel.  No surgical precision, just blatant violence.  While the warp engines are obviously more inspired by the Refit Constitution due to the flattened profile.  But all in all...it makes for a better "dreadnought" than slapping a third warp engine on top of the saucer.

She's looking good baz!

Nice! I wonder what that bit under the bridge is; can't really make it out in any pictures.

As for the look of the ship, it represents the complete opposite of what starfleet stands for and so is designed to look very opposite to the Enterprise.
The Enterprise is bright, sleek and beautiful; the Vengeance dark, harshly angular and aggressive.

Well done. I'm looking forward to fight this beast. I'm convinced that this ship is going to be a worthy opponent. :)

I  salute you Baz  :salute2:.

It's an understandably natural instinct for people to want to make 'hero' ships (natch, they're always going to be popular).  But as we all know, every hero needs a good nemesis, and you've done the community a service taking this on.  It's the ship I'm most looking fwd to  :)

And I'm running out of hero ships.
Well, as hard as it would be to improve your TOS and TMP Connies and your Galaxy, you were planning on revising the Kelvin fleet and your Excelsior pack as I recall.  Not to mention the million other back-burnered WIPs you have in your list. :angel  Though you could always come up with new designs. ;)

In any event Baz, I'm loving the Vengeance so far, can't wait to blow stuff up with it.

Is it just me, or can anyone else see a modern style Shark face painted on the sides of the secondary hulls, similar to what they have on the A-10 Warthog? Those balls of Doom and those Mega Phasers would look good with an A-10 Paint scheme! That is looking good Baz! I can't WAIT to attack the Abramsprise with that beaut!
