« on: June 30, 2009, 08:29:20 PM »
Because this was an awesome series/universe and this new forum needs more threads. :P

I'm in the process of finishing the 5th season of B5 on DVD.

I just started watching. I'm on the 5th episode. It's very interesting. I'd like to think of it as the future of BSG based on the uniform styling alone. :P

hmm season 1 they were figuring things out and had TNT meddling in some of the eps....
Season 5 they didn't even know they were going to get + one of the cast left them so they had to create a new character (that kinda set things back)

One thing I do know that was good throughout was the music.... WOW!

One problem with B5 is that you really need to follow it from the beginning, you can't just pick it up or miss an episode. Kinda like Lost.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Season 5 they didn't even know they were going to get

Yeah, they thought they got canceled after the fourth, so all the ideas they had for fourth and fifth where squeezed in to the fourth. And the fifth was then written very quickly.

The last ep of S5 was meant to be the last ep of S4. Hence no Tracy Scoggins (can't remember her character name) and a return of (the awesome) Susan Ivanova (can't remember her real name :P).

The little pistol sfx gets used quite a bit in other stuff as well.

And is it me or is Ivanova the only one I've actually seen outside of B5? I know Sheridan was in Heroes recently but that was it...
