guys, I got a quickie question.

I wanna cross-post my snaps from BC of my custom skins (including one I haven't shown ya yet).  how do you guys want credited, same as in your readme?

Pictures are ok, releases of edited textures, without permission, are not.

all it'll be is the screencaps.  I'm gonna check the AUP of the pic site as well and see if there's other complications.

If it makes it any easier, if it's the Daedalus texture edit you want to post, we give you permission you release it if you want ;)

This includes customizable characters (e.g. Warcraft, Spore) or creations assembled using pre-created criteria and/or programs where the user input is primarily adjusting values (e.g sliders, values, seeds) and the computer then generates content.

I'm not saying due to the reputation of the subculture, which, btw, is FAT with trekkies/ers.  it's also in case someone on here decides to be immature if I mention it (like a tinhorn, or young fan).

it's an Art site...i have something like 40 watchers, and I know there's a lot of trekkie/ers in there.  i may doublecheck with Deviantart and their AUP, but again, "copyright" questions come up.  it's very hard to know what and where is leagal in this day and age of the Class Action Lawsuit and Zealot copyrighters (Paramount, TimeWarner, and Disney corporation are the big offenders).

eh I also have a DA account... there I've seen people post their own 3d generated work or posted works they created using other's models after they got their permission.

Galen82 and kaden-dark to name a few. (they have worked together on many projects)

but they are mainly 2d artists (ok kaden-dark is more 3d but meh).

just give Paramount it's due in the artist comment section and ya fine.
They really don't care what people do with Star Trek as long as you don't post the shows online.

I was just looking at Galen82's CG work. he/she has posted a Submarine concept that someone mistook for a starship. XD
I've sent a inquiry to the help desk, just in case.  this is CG art, and the previous mentioned above has a general ban on things, including Spore Creations, so i can't submit...unless I post the unwrapped skin.
