Detaling is coming along well. I'm finally happy with the deflector housing, and the cut in's are coming along fine. Impulse are finshed, and the finshing touches on the bottom hull are in progress where it meets the shuttle bay and escape pod bays. Enjoy and i hope you like.

That sounds about right. As long as the textures are straight forward and no weird stretching of pixels so it could be easy to retexture.

Here are the dimensions for the Vesta-class from Mark Rademaker.

Length: 672 meters
Width: 182 meters
Height: 87 meters

Source
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

Time for an update. The nacella pylons are nearly finshed along with the secondary impuls systems. Tha sensor bands, docking ports, some windows and loads of other details have been added. She is sitting pritty jest under 10 000 polys and there is still more to come. I hope you enjoy and i'm looking forward to feed back.

Yes  top notch stuff. Also, she has one mean looking impulse engine. Does that mean she'll be able to run circles around a Galaxy class?  :D

It's not the size, it's how you use it. I really like the detail on the model.

I dunno... LaForge referring to the Jenolan: "I don't know, if she was up and running, I'd bet she'd run circles around the Enterprise at impulse speeds."
It's not the size, it's how you use it.
That's what she said.

Anyways!  The Vesta is really shaping up, can't wait to see her with clothes on!

You have done an absolutely fantastic job on a ship I'm not overly fond of. :)
