I'm still thinking on the weapons lay out. The ships purpose is not to be an escort like the defiant. She'll be half the size of a Sovy, around 3 to 400 meters. Not sure how many deck that will be. I don't want her to be a flying phaser, but she will be a stand alone war ship originally designed during the DW. The first and only ship prototype was finished jest shy of the battle at Cardassia and the top brass felt that a weapon system like this may pervoke other governments during the after math of the war. SO for some years she sat in the fleet yards till the late 2380's when she was needed finally.
Refitted with the Vesta chroniton based sensors in the dual sensor pods a top the ship. Transphasic shields, torpedoes and 8 Mark 2 Transphsic phasers emitters. Quantum torpedoes and standard Photons will be on board and the new Mark 1 prototype Mag pules dual canons for disabling ship quickly. Her hull armor is nearly 3 times thicker then most ships so the dual core system was placed in her to power all her systems and the new quad pulse engine to make her as agile as a defiant.
With all of this and more classified systems, Star fleet felt she was not for the peaceful era that was ahead. But all things come to an end.....
