If you look at the 4th pic of the Beagle, you can see the bottom of the saucer just passes through the bussard collector.

well yeah cause the saucer is smaller than the nacelle.

So isn't that a physical error?
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Don't look like it... To me the nacelle just wraps around the saucer.

I think it would look better if it looked more integrated instead of clipped into the saucer.

Thank you. I like the upper one more, it seems like that the little ship is going somewhere in a hurry.

I like the second one because it looks like the Beagle is chasing it's tail... :funny

I like the second one also, because it looks like a younger Tom Paris took the helm and is spinning donuts :D

you're welcome. I might use same trick more often now that I got positive feedback from it. Not too often tho, I have no plans of becoming one trick pony..

funny.. I bought the ship that inspired this one today in STO. despite sharing the same task with small differences, I still prefer my modified Prometheus.

{Star Fleet: R & D} Vesta Class Cruiser Update
« Reply #659 on: August 14, 2010, 11:35:25 AM »
Probably wondering what happened to the Vesta Class, well it's been on my shelf for a bit as ive been extremely busy working... festivals mainly which has been great... however since my workload has quietened down this week i thought i'd better get some work done it. Ive only got to finish off the azteching on the bottom of the ship and some minor details round the back of the shuttle bay, but that's about it.

These pics don't have any specular yet, but most of the alpha's are done ;)

Enjoy

Feedback is most welcome :)
