here you go..

that Sovie is virtually in touching distance, only ~2km away. And that Excalibur is about twice as far, yet she fills the screen..

well, she definitely has the punch and shields to do well even with heavy hitters dishing out capital punishment towards her. :D Klingons or Romulans, doesn't matter.. while it may take whole photon torpedo compliment to bring their cap ships down, she can do it. a fleet of these babies is a scary thought.

BankruptStudios, no worries. thanks to that little glitch I have a drone ship that sends the romulans and Klingons fleeing. Dominion..? well, they are in the lead, making a "tactical retreat"  :D

Re: Star Fleet: R & D WIPS SD-103 Shuttle
« Reply #229 on: November 13, 2009, 09:41:08 AM »
Ok, after a short break i'm back. Hobbs and TiqHud and I has started a mod team named Star Fleet: Research & Development. Our first task is the SD-103 from star trek 5 and generations. The SD-103 is used by Starfleet in the 23rd and 24th centuries, this shuttle is known to be used for orbital personnel transport.
After doing resurch and finding pic's and screen cap we found an unfinished model by William Riker he made for SFC. After aquering the rights I've started cutting and rejoining the ships core parts for UV editing. Now i jest finshed the UV mapping and i'm going to start Texturing and converting to BC. Enjoy.

Cool! It is the executive shuttle that I wouldn't have to make. Good work.

there's a single protector model on BC.  it's fairly well done, but...

it needs a whole new texture set.  they were rushed even for the "small ship for slow processor" era

the engine support arcs need to be completely re-polied into a correct shape, and several small details need added.  unfortunately, I don't have the proper program to do fixes with.  it's more basic than regular 3dsmax.
