Will old Techs like Replusion Torp work with KM 1.0?

I wanted to see if the old torpedo scripts i.e, Repulsion Torp, would work with
KM 1.0. I dropped the script torpedo.py into the proper folder and added the script
to the torpedo but no go. Will this old tech work with KM 1.0?

it should work if all the requirements are installed
