The old thread went bye-bye, but it needs to make a comeback, especially since I woke up to the sight of that nasty white crap everywhere. I hate snow. /Francis

well, up here, we don't have snow.. we got ten inches couple weeks ago but it melted away, and it's dark, soggy, damp, moist, wet, lightless.. oh yeah, our suicide rates are soaring as usual for this season. it's officially winter, fellas!  :D

on the other hand, we might plummet below zero celsius any moment and stay anywhere from 22F to -42F.. That's Finland for you 'mmuricans and continental dwellers.

Shut it you yankees :P

At least your governments can cope with a little bit of the white stuff!
Heck most british people go in to "OMAIGAWDWEEZALLGOINGNTODAIBEEEIFWEDRIEVCOZITSWINTARLIEK" mode. My first driving lesson was driving in the snow and driving on ice. Because it was the middle of December '06 and there was nothing but snow and ice for 100 miles!
I miss :bigdance:

Jealous, ya Limey? :P

at least you started in winter.  I got the impression that half of Europe doesn't know what snow is.  that's why american cars have all those nannies on them, now.  cause Americans don't know how drive in the snow anymore, either!  I had to drive in/on ICE, with passengers.  I'm glad I had 4wd.  I actually used my SUV for what it was intended.  that's why I had to junk it...it died...I managed to kill a Toyota!

and it sure ain't "a little bit" of white stuff, ask anyone in the snowbelt.  there's only two places in the US that don't deal with snow.  SoCal and Florida.

Winter is usually the only time I actually get to work.  it's like, the minute the nice weather comes, I'm broke, bored, and boiling :P

I'm betting the minute it's 15 above farenheight, and school busses get delayed till 9 AM so the parents don't sue, THEN i'll be back at work.

Fall and Winter are my favourite seasons for the cold, rain and snow...I hate the summer for heat and humidity, I get major migraines and it's probably because I'm an Englishman...everyone knows the clich? weather. ^.^
