somebody didn't tell Lionus that the British isles are under a perpetual raincloud.  it still amazes me to see picutes of a British location with mostly sunny or even clear skies.

I have a friend who's touring Russia (in the winter, not a smart move, lol), and I told him if he wanted to enjoy a change of scenery and freeze his ass off at the same time, he could always have come to me. *grin*

it's already on schedule, guys.  sorry.  it's gonna warm up enough to expose all the ice, and then promptly freeze solid again.

oy, did we get hit bad this morning.  a couple-three inches overnight, and temperatures hovering at freezing means perfectly wet heavy snow, a small crust of ice, and, due to a combination of that and it being a Political Holiday, no plows on the road (besides the interstate), other than some token swipes, untill nearly 7 AM

March 15, 1993 - 69 daily low temperature records were broken over the eastern U.S. as cold air persisted behind the "Blizzard of '93." Fort Myers, Florida shivered at 39?F...

you mean the one where, right after graduating, and before starting college, I was trapped for 7-8 days in the house with no power, no light, and no heat except a gas stove?  it took the morons 10 days to realize that the power was out 'cause the farmers all dug up their generators, and they thought nothing was wrong.

...well, at least the snow is going away. Mostly. (Though my mother came in and told me there's the possibility of snow in Boston?)

it's soo evil over here in Michigan... ice is everywhere around my house... so freaking slick...
also got quite a few inches up north...

the only thing I like about it is... the college campus is closed cause of it.
