HQ Planets v1.2 Error - No Textures, Major Lag

I recently installed the HQ planets mod over at BCFiles, trouble now is that a number of planets in the mod just appear blank (solid white texture) and cause incredible lag in the game.

The installation of this mod is so straight forward ie. copy and paste over original files, I don't know what went wrong.

If anyone knows what causes this kind of error I'm it would help me out immensely

Can your GFX card handle the size of these textures? it doesn't look like it.

Graphic card model?
For the GPUs you must have about 8000MPixels/s fill rate to hold the planets and about 128MB video memory.

Could it also be possible that the textures are not powers of 2? BC only excepts them.

Perhaps its the graphics card,

I have a Nvidia 512MB Go 7900GTX card, its never had this proplem before though,

It's as if the file doesn't want to load, its just blank as if textureless

White planets with lot of lag, shows that your card cant handle the textures.

they weren't the correct resolution

they were 2049 instead of 2048

I didn't initially think this could be the case as everyone else with the mod must have the same problem.

People just mustn't have noticed

All of the textures are 2048x1024 or 2048x2048. I dont know how a texture is not with proper size. Ive cheked the textures again before realising the MOD. I have no problems with the planets. Maybe when archiving is the problem because I make the maximum compression that can be made to zip archive. If you weren't using WinRaR maybe the problem is problem with data extracting.

I know its seems crazy, hav u tried d/ling the fil via filefront, perhaps thats corrupted.

It's possible something strange happened on my computer, but all the the planets using the "AquaPlanet" map had 2049x2049 textures.

And also one of the green rocky planets had an extreme ratio like 2666x1059

Filefront from about a year have problems with files, poll, ratings, PoTDs. I am not supprised. I am sorry about the errors in the MOD. Sorry again.
