Has there been any progress on this? I only ask because I thought you had to have a completed item during a given month to be eligeable for that months award.

so long as a nomination is being worked on during the month it is nominated, thats ok... however, it couldnt be nominated a second time again of course...

It's summer holidays! Woot! I don't like how my TNG frigate is shaping up, so I'm putting it on the backburner for a while and thought I'd pick up this ship since the thread was resurrected anyway, reminding me.

Haven't done a whole lot other than map out most of the body, so much of the ship now has the base hull texture on it. I also changed the warp engine glow and some hull lines. More updates to follow.

Definately looks very streamlined - like the Cardassians realized that sharp angles aren't a good idea. Somebody could get cut on those things. *chuckles*

and I can't say that I'm sad too see a new Cardassian design - they're the guys I tend to fight most when I play.

Beautiful ship. Maybe this could be an Obsidian Order vessel. I don't think the Federation would allow the Cardassians to build up their military so soon after the Dominion War. Unless of course this was something being made as the war was coming to an end and they finished it so they could at least have some kind of a defensive vessel.

Early 25th century means at least 25 years. I think that's time enough.

I don't know, wasn't it like 60 years before the United States allowed Japan to build an offensive fighting force after WWII?
