Wasn't the semi-complete romulan bridge on the main FileFront site somewhere.
I remember having it for a little while. Must have deleted it since then.

crap. I was hoping someone would "finish" the Kessok Bridge...it the same format I designd for P-Star bridges...only the captian sits down :P

ya thats the one i was referring to...  i couldnt find it on the FF main site, iu tried searching "Warbird Bridge", "Occas", and "Dreamyards" but nothing came up...

Couldn't find that CD unsurprisingly. Jimmy what are the odds sneaker98 still has it? if I recall correctly he corrected the floating crew problem way back when, and that Warbird bridge was on his list.

sneaker really wasnt on the bridge modding team all too much, and he has long ago left the BC scene...  even viper doesnt have it, so if no one else does then i guess that bridge is gone for good...
i suppose it is possible that mark or sean might have it, but i dont think they do either  :idk:
i know that i used to have it, but i dont seem to anymore...

aha - i found it!  it was on ff's main site...  there are problems with the bridge, but it is here:

come to think about it, i think this was more or less a nebula bridge retext with a few changes to the bridge model...  ah well, maybe someone can take it from where it is to improve upon?

Wow I thought I'd never see that thing again! +cookie Jimmy (I almost typed karma like this was BCS lol)

Not that it matters now but I figured since sneaker was the one fixing them back then he'd have it, and I saw him register at BCS a few months ago so I figured he may be lurking around from time to time.

EDIT: Well, this bridge is a little messed up, but it may be salvageable. I think it's mostly scripting errors but the model could use some work too (not to mention a re-texture, unfortunately the textures are in NIF's :( ), mostly to fix up some weirdness and the viewscreen (it's too Fed).

In the long run though it may be better to wait for Lurok's new one.

I think Saffi is supposed to be using the nebula animations (I don't have it on that particular install that you saw in the shots). Galaxy animations seem to work for it. Hmm, I'm gonna play with it for s**ts & giggles.

Lurok, if I can help ease the modelling workload any I'd be more than willing to assist. I've been toying with the idea of modelling Ops for some time...

If can get permissions,  is anyone interested in this Warbird being revamped?   Doesn't seem too bad, and can hopefully fix problems.  Would also save me remodelling from scratch (lol).   Congrats on finding it as well.  Wonder if there are any other abandoned WIPs around?   And it's nice/useful to have a new set of crew positions.

On that note, the warbird bridge shows how much simply adding junk around the room can improve the atmosphere.

I'd love to see it get fixed, but you'd have to do some remodeling on this one too, and an entire new set of scripts to get rid of errors like these shown below. It happened when I switched from the Rotaran bridge to the Warbird, and the same thing happens when I switch to the Warbird from any other bridge (old error known as the "floating crew problem").

Long story short, I'm not sure how much of a time saver it would be considering the revised scripting and the textures being in NIF, but whatever you think is easier (a new mesh or fixing this one) I'm all for it.

Probably best to fix this one, with new textures, and work on a new mesh later on.

Nif textures can be extracted by loading the model nif into Milkshape. It automatically creates tgas.

Re: Warbird bridge, leaving aside texture and script probs, I compared it to bridge as appears in DS9 and I gotta say I think Nebula bridge is a closer match for size and atmosphere.  If I was to work on this,  I think I'd rather try and revamp Neb to match rather than remodel the old Warbird bridge.  Any thoughts?
