I saw this on the web and figured I wanted to do it. I have the TMP nx model made but I am having sketchup issues and will post it later.

Looks like Gabe Koerner's reimagined Constitution but this one looks like refit (I recognize that deflector and vertical ?arboretum? windows on secondary hull, damn fine design ;)

I know that there was a finished and complete orthos(And several variations) of what you have in your first post but since his official site is dead you'll have to go off of whats on Bing/Google Images.

I disagree.  As much as I love the Koerner-Prise, it wouldn't fit in with the smoothness of the new movie.

With you on that metalnick, should have been this design, or at least the aft part of the secondary hull of this design on the JJ movie version. that to me is what kills the JJ design.

Anyway, great start on her. This will be one I will be looking forward to. :dance

I'm curious, what process are you using to model that? As in, how do you plan to continue? With how you're going currently, I foresee some possible problems.

what I am doing is a very common method in for sketchup modelers. What I will do is create polies from the schematics, seperate the parts, and stitch them together. What I am probably going to do is build half of the ship and mirror it.
