You've got the balance exactly right DJ! And she looks like a step between the Ambie and the Galaxy. Can't wait to see her textured.

Gonna start on those textures now.

And yes, Damar is done, still have to pack it all up though.

Sorry to go off-topic here DJ but I just recently came across your Eclipse class and after downloading imediatly I found your old thread and got caught up on her construction.  While doing so I came across this little guy :D.  Any chance you've done anything else with her since then?  Because that would be really sweet if you could release this little gem along with your Damar Class and TNG Frigate

Looks like it could be used as an upgraded Ambassador class... possibly an economic fill in for Galaxy class starships when they were first being built.  I like it a lot.

How about name the class of this ship as the Quadrant class.  It could be setup where 4 of these ships were built for every Galaxy class.

We could do a retcon where we say "Oh, all those Galaxy classes we saw in the Dominion War?  They weren't all Galaxy classes..."
You know, like what those Star Wars guys said when A-wings began showing up a few years before they were supposed to.

Now THAT's what the Enterprise-C should have been. :)

Really beautiful ship, DJ. I think it's my favourite out of all the ships you've done so far.

It looks a bit too similar to the Galaxy Class for my taste, but the mesh is excellent, as is usual for your work.  Also it's size and shape remind me of Adonis' Desert Rose Class.

hmm this is awesome, though I wouldn't have bent those pylons so much. :D

It looks like it fits right between the New Orleans Class and Galaxy Class. (roll and size)
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

personally, i prefer them; IMO it stands it out just a little bit more...  otherwise it wont look too much like a Galaxy; or like a Galaxy Class with large windows (when textured and complete) lol

umm Jimmy I think ya missed my point lol...
I was saying they need to look a little closer to the galaxy ones from head on.

Here's where it's at so far.  You might be able to tell that I'm using the exact same colour scheme as my Galaxy Class.  in fact I'm using that texture file as a base.

More updates to follow today.
