I actualy like your orignal design better. I think the top hull should continue to the tip of the saucer instead of stopping aft of the bridge. Jest an idea.

Something like this?  Perhaps this could be the U.S.S. Halcyon.  Check out the poll.

I like it. the hull reminds me of 1930's airships..

So for the Halcyon, since it looks like I'll be making it as well, should I throw in a rail gun, like the Halcyon class from Halo?  Maybe it just passes through shields directly or something.

Now theres an idea! I like it. But how would it look on the ship? Built into the hull or maybe an underslung barrel?

I'm thinking putting it in that extended upper hull, with an opening similar to how the Voyager's saucer deflector looks.

UPDATE:
Working on the nacelles for now.  I know they're a bit too pointy, but it's low on polies right now.  I'll be chamferring and such, so they should smooth out.  Plus the fact I'm still not done.

The nacelles may be pointy right now, but they look pretty neat so far.

If you're referring to the side pods, those are torp launchers I beleive.

1. Mobile starbase WIP
2. Sovereign-ized Galaxy
3. Enterprise lineage, including H and I concepts, Surpasser, and random SUV
4. H or I bridge
5. I top and side (top out of proportion in saucer greebles)
6. I front and back, nacelle concepts (back was the first drawn, I loved it and stuck with it)

2 8. H design (not happy with the saucer, drew alternatives)
3 9. Proto-H (drawn about a year ago, incorporates elements of the Eclipse with Sovereign proportions)

I like your sketches. Especially the mobile starbase with exterior docking ports similar to DS9, and your Enterprise-I. Some of these might get built. :)

5! 5! And yeah, these are pretty good, wouldn't mind seeing the rest of the mobile starbase though. :S

Your wish is my command.  I borrowed your Copernicus ribbing and nacelle design from your second concept, Wiley.  I hope you don't mind.

Smooth... just need to add phasers, RCS thrusters, and pods and good to go for texturing.

Okay, I need some comments on the sketches mostly at the moment.  In particular,
the Enterprise H design overall, with comments on the saucer possibilities,
the Enterprise I design (I'm happy with it, although the top view is off-take the secondary hull and widen it 50%),
and the bridge design.  That curved area at the front?  Big windows that extend at least four meters up, three windows across.

So quit lurking and post. :P

UPDATE:
Okay, since you guys find it so hard to post :roll, looks like I'm going to have to entice you all with something.  Some pics of the model, I think in its final state.  If you see anything, better mention it.

There won't be a third pod (the aft-most one) because I can't figure out how on earth I thought it could possibly look good in the first place.  I might just put some big windows there so people can look out (aft-facing mess hall?  Would be pretty to see the nacelle glows...)
