Do you intend to add on the phaser arrays flanking the ship's name to the Sao Paolo? In STO they put the arrays WAAAAYYY too close together to the point that they squish the space for the ship's name plate.

The Defiant's name itself is proportionally large to other depictions of Starfleet registries. I'll make it work.

I like that you didn't put the circular tube on the design of the deflector. I see it on the model from ERTL, and the bogus designs but I've looked at the shots from the show up and down but it's too dark to be definitive but it doesn't seem to be there in a circular form. I think you got it right.

NCC-90666 but i can make it myself one blank reg map will work thank you.

You know, you may have to be creative in the specular department to give Defiant a realistic hull pattern. Not even our current Voyager models have that. I guess Galaxy and Sovereign already had those patterns there.

It's not a hull pattern which this is missing... It's actual texture. Currently it just has simple basic colouring....

There is texture, it's just only on the base hull gray at the moment. As for speculars, Defiant shows them off well in certain shots of the studio model in DS9, due to the noticeably moodier lighting used throughout the series.

Farshot, what sort of 3D primitive did you use to create the smooth top side between the Bridge and Nose Deflector?
I've been trying to create it on my program and I keep getting an ugly seam. I need ideas.

May not help much, but I just had the two edges, the bottom of Deck 1 and the top of your Deck 4, bridged the gap between them, subdivided it into 5 levels, and then raised each until they matched the contour.

Are you referring to the name being mirrored or the absence of a registry on the deflector pod? :angel
