Farshot can I get a close up on the tail of Defiant...
and for the nacelles (since it has a modeled mesh...is it possible to simulate that white glow that's on the inside and just alpha channel the interior walls with different intensities of blue.  

It should be able to accurately simulate in 3D studio Max for how the light would react in that enclosed space. to make it look exactly like this shot.

:eek Looking really nice! In fact, this looks like it might be the next 'must-have' Defiant model.
Gotta hand it to you; this doesn't look like an easy thing to model - or texture for that matter - and I can't see much wrong with it.

I'm not sure what more to do for the pods.  I thought I already got it very close, minus the modeled in detail.

And I also decided to slice up Defiant to see what the decks would look like at 170 meters.  Here she is, and as you can see, Deck 5 conveniently lines up with the panel on the front part of the nose, a perfect location for the airlock.

I know you're got alot on your plate Farshot but I'm convinced if you went for a full detailed model like Tobias Richter you could do it more justice....or should I say more perfection.

Loving this, but according to the MSD, doesn't the Defiant only have four decks?
