Secondary targeting issue
« on: August 12, 2010, 01:21:46 PM »
I have noticed that when I secondary target ships, the projectiles I fire at them are aimed slightly too high on the enemy ship. What I mean is, the weapons I fire at the secondary targets are not heading for the center of the target like they should, they just fly right by the ship at a certain distance from it. On large ships they normally hit anyway, but on small ships like a Dominion Bug, projectiles almost always miss.

I figure that there is an accidental offset in the scripts applied to the target when you use secondary targeting. Does anyone know what script I need to look in to find and correct this error.

Did you get the secondary targeting from the shuttleframework download or from another mod?

you have to have your ship lined up perfectly with the ship you're targeting for torps... you can't just fire and forget.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.
