I've been waiting, and finally I have gotten the first shot of some of the progress that Wiley has done on the Sentinel. He also gave me an Idea of using the JLS textures but lightning them up to match the CG textures and then adding the Sentinel scheme to that. I have also posted a pic of that as well, and yes I know the Sovereign says "Archangel" I haven't changed the name yet lol

I finally got the KM beta, no more 1024x768 for me :D

Anyways I've been working on the Sentinel textures and they are coming along nicely, pics below.

There will also be yet another ship added to the pack....U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000-A. I will be trying to incorporate some of the Excelsiors colors to give It Its own scheme.

I can't really tell from those shots, but are the underside plasma coils on the nacelles integrated physically into the nacelle or just textures?

Apart from that, looks pretty damned impressive and crisp. Has my definite download. :)

The underside grilles are just place holders, that's where the nacelle additions will be added. When they are finished they will extrude from the nacelle and will be seamless.

Same for the Sentinel's enlarged bussard *struggles not to call that area of the nacelle 'glans'* head?

No, those what I am now referring to as "deformities" will not be added to the nacelles. For the sheer fact that they are downright ugly and take away from the sleekness of the nacelles.

I've come up with a possible way to depict the nacelles without making it look bulgy, yet still keeping the sleekness of the ship's design. The actual bussards are not affected.

Alrighty, adding yet another ship to this pack that Is being amassed, I present the U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000-A!

This ship will feature an Excelsior inspired color scheme, this as well will also be using the modified JLS textures I am working with. They look exceptional In game, what do you all think ?

Looks interersting. I would put some more grey into this blue. The blue looks a bit overwelming...

Some of the colors are fairly darker than others, It's all about lighting, and In a game like BC the lighting Is not the best. Those pictures were taken In the "Deep space" map, Heres a couple of max renders with better lighting.
