With the imminent release of KM 1.0 happening; i'd like to know how likely it is that people will even bother using WiP when its realeased; espescially considering KM's exclusive and exhaustive features and ships that will be included.

Be aware that the results of this pole may affect future development.

You know this question/poll is really unnecessary there will always be people who like either KM or wip there is no reason one good mod should trump another or for that matter decide the fate of another.

I likely will have both one install for KM and another for WIP I like variety.

ya i agree - there are alot of huge mods out there soon to be released (DS9FX, Immersion, etc), that will be huge hits as well as KM...
besides, alot of people have a whole seperate untouched KM install for MP use, as well as a modded install for personal use...

I agree with you Andrew, some people will stay on KM, some people will prefer WiP, it's impossible to please everyone.

Jimmy, I agree with you also, I have a copy of KM for online play and another for modding. But I'll definatley get WiP, especially as I'm working on it. It would just be nice if in our threads, we didn't get completley negative talk. KM has a lot of support behind it because almost everyone in the BC Comunity has it, WiP is new, and doesn't have much fan support at the minute, therefore, we need some input from the community of what they want to see in a mod and we will try our upmost to deliver. We already have some idea flying about, but are trying to make them work before announcing. Also, modellers would be a grea help. My trial for Milkshap has expired and I can't export to .nif with Gmax, unless that can export to something else that I could send to someone who has 3DSMax and could turn it into a .nif for me.

i voted that it depends on the features - if theres not much new in there i wouldnt be that bothered about installing it.

There is always room for new mods if they show people something new.
So it?s totally up to you guys to create something interesting.

Oh we will. But we also want some help EG. Modellers, scripters etc.

And donations of ships and even more importantly:

IDEAS!!!!! We need ideas of what you guys want to see in a mod.

How about a full scale borg invasion? We could then get permission for the assimilated Galaxies etc. that might work.

Try something less epic, there are lots of minor powers out there we don't see much of or know much about,
The Breen, Sona, Tholians to name but three.

How about an alliance between two or all three?
