Take it how u want to,*with no offense ment pls* but I'd actually like to take the time to say thank you. Thank you to each and every one of you. I mean, not to sound rude but I didn't start off making these ships for you guys, I made them for me, But i showed you them for feed back on how to improve them, and got a nice response so i looked into actually releasing them, obvisouly needless to say i will release them to the public too, since with out all your help and feedback they probably wouldn't look like they do. I would never expect the response I get from some of you, it really makes me happy and can actually brighten my day. Because at this moment I'm stuck indoors with a frozen sholder that's only getting worse and i'm on so much medication its just not funny, really depressing in all honesty, i miss my bike and my walk's. More so with the weather Englands been having as of late.

But as i actually look at some of my renders, "Good example being the U.S.S. Marco Polo" i find it hard to believe i actually made her. if you excuse my typing this as kinda wanna get off my chest (tablets make me damn emo ) i Started off In Klingon Academy actually knowing what i was doing in Lightwave *and much better than i am now* and was a very active member of their community working with the NX-Modders team, with my *modding* Life long friend Jakeo_26 (who i still speak to and play STO with) and between him and exarkhun got me quite high up, i build ds9 for ka

also i built the deathstar with a real working interia and outta my last pics i could find a runabout

and a quite a few more, but during that time my girl friend passed away carrying my twins *not after simpothy just telling my story* and as i was trying to tour with my band still i moved into the dark regions of sexy drugs booze and heavy metal and it changed me as a person *i was a bit of a c*nt* but as a result i lost a lot of my memory dr's said it would come back in time and it was all me just hiding my past - but meh, it did't and still has't but when bridge commander came out, i attempted to start modeling again - this time with 3d studio max, and lo and behold I couldn't bloody do it. Nothing this entire program was 100% different from what i was use too, and for some reason my brain wasn't allowing me to do what i knew i could.. so i moved onto learning max though Kitbashing, here is a few of my early attempts
the first picture is of this ship in startrek Klingon academy, as i had loved this kitbash since i was learning lightwave

and this is from Bc

http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/FAS_Invincible;25002

This ship was made up from a Sov, Akira, Excel Refit & Voyager, it didn't look great but i enjoyed it and wanted to do more

Next ship (just a retexture) was my personal ship *thats been with me EVERYWHERE i've been* was the FAS_Kadet *Fallen Angel Squadron*
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/FAS_Kadet;28348
In her time she's seen 5 overhawls ranging from ka all the way to sto here's a few pictures

This is her FIRST look from Klingon Academy

Phase 2 Was her FIRST look in Bridge commander

Phase 3 her final look in Bridge commander

Phase 4 was her Only look she in Legacy (which was my favorit)

and finally Phase 5 Was from Star Trek Online

a few other kitbash's i tried before i dissapeared
Hypersonic BOP - bad name i know
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Hypersonic_Bird_of_Prey_MKII;26330

Sith Kessok - i know i know another bad name lol
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Sith_Kessok;24961

and then i went, and then in 2006 stright after the release of Star Trek Legacy i was picked up by Chris Jones Gaming as they had seen on the Bethesda Forums i was the first person to PORT the dominion from BC over to legacy, and so they asked me to join their ranks. i went from porting the dominion and cardassians for the Ultimate dominion pack to retexturing fed ships for the Terran Empire

here's a couple of the ships i did

then after that i decided once again to try building a ship from scratch, with a little help from people like adonis and Chief brex and marky D explaining a few things i managed to do this (its bad i know its my first new model in like 6 or 7 years lol)

as you can see it's piss poor, so then i went onto try a cannon ship a TOS romulan BOP which i couldn't seem to work out AT ALL But then Chief Brex explained it a little bit more and away i went, working on A not too bad BOP for legacy
http://legacy.filefront.com/file/Romulan_Bird_Of_Prey;93753

then With the assistance of Marky D explaining a few more thing's i decided to attempt to make an Oberth Class (at this time i was introduced to Adonis as well) which actaully won me the Best new modder award and best Tmp design. here are the ships from my Oberth ship pack
The Gardian Refit

Normal Oberth

Medical Pod Oberth

and then i went onto starting to build Origins (Trust me the first run of it was AWFUL) heres a then and now for you
2009

2012

as you all know Origins was ment to be a BIG pack to show my return to bc but that didn't happen, but thanks to Baz1701 I got my first release in 8 years, the U.S.S. Strider
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/USS_Strider;120787

as you know my first BIG hawl of ships didn't work out due to being originally made for Legacy they didn't like convirting back to bc so i though with my new skill's i would redo them, the connie would take the longest and then i can knock them out pritty quickly as you know i do .... the rest they say, is history lol

so with the end of my EMO rant i just want to say thank you to all of you, for being, friends, Family and mentors i came from basically nothing and being unknown to having a few of you guys watching my work constinantly helping praising and giving advice where you feel was needed, with out Any of you i'd never be where i am now below are just a few extra thanks, if i forget some one Pls don't take it personally

Chris Jones - if it wasn't for you old friend, i Don't know where i would be right now
Jakeo_26 - for getting me into modeling in the very first place
Adonis, Marky D & Chief Brex, for Actually teaching me 3d studio Max
Laserdisc, for all your helpful tip's with Photoshop
Baz1701 & Wiley Coyote - for all your help conditioning me with max and improving me on what i know now
Baz1701 - for putting up with my crap and getting my ship's ingame, and texturing my Strider class. Thank you so much fella
Tiqhud - For Hp'ing all my work
Nebula - for bouncing around idea's with me when i very first got into bc - and still a valued friend
JC2006 - for writing up all my NON cannon information about my ships
Mindwipe - being a bloody good mate when and where i need you
Killallewoks - for helping me learn how to do good pic's in bc ;)
Markeno AKA travis AKA chris jones gaming Muldrf - thanks for putting my new ships into legacy uum, where they where always intended to be
ALL my Beta Testers - with out you guys i'd of released some crap lol thanks for helping me fix my problems and getting my ships upto par

serisouly guy's i know some of you won't read this, but to all those who did and have helped me over the years, Thank you so much ;)

After looking at your new work over the past couple of months, it's amazing to see how far you have come since the good old days! Well done bro, you have far exceeded anything I was ever capable of. Those old KA screenshots bring back many memories! And all this new work is making me want to play BC.

By helping others we keep this community alive.

As you said you come from nothing, well all of us have similar stories in how we began modeling. The best way to thank those that helped you is to pay it forward to any new people on the scene, and I have already seen you do that.

I have worked with a few newbie's on their ships but what makes you stand out is your not just here to get a ship released. You would rather scrap a mod and restart it to get it the best it can be rather than release as is. Your skills in both modeling and texturing have surpassed many here already and there is not much left for you to learn.

Once origins is done I would love to see you try your hand at complex ship with kick ass aztecing. It is intimating at first but doing your research and playing with things you can achieve anything in BC that others still here or long gone have done before.

Onwards and upwards my friend, there is no limit in which to hold yourself back.
Whatever knocks us back, can only make us stronger.

Damn Phoenix, well not much to say here but Origins is possibly some of the best TOS ships to date. I can kinda see where your name comes from now, maybe you could have a bash at doing TMP refits? As Baz said you show excellant talent and TMP ships have kick ass aztecing.

Don't worry about the weather too, at least today is somewhat warm and with blue skies.

what, no nod for the Strider help? :P ah, don't care, it was just nice to have a TMP that wasn't a sluggish joke (thanks to early interpretations based on the minimal movements in the movies)

and a couple of those can be rescued.

Thank you for sharing your story Phoenix. It was heart wrenching and glorious at the same time. I know you're not seeking it, but I have to say that there are no words to properly express my condolences to the loss and heartache you've experienced. You're a part of this family, and our hearts are with you. If there's one thing I know, is that I know that your girlfriend and twins are in a much, much better place... and one day, you'll be with them again.  :angel

As far as your skills are concerned, dude, your improvement is incredible. You have some magnificent work.

Thanks for being a part of this community. And chin up!!!

I can't speak for everyone but I feel you've not offended anyone Phoenix. And your sentiment is a good thing. And you're right, it was more of an acknowledgment on my part instead of sympathy. Also, a sprinkle of empathy I would say. I too have lost some people that were very close to me so... I just wanted to be supportive  :)

May you and your sweetheart be the happiest for all your days and hope your health gets better and better!

Now, how about finishing those beautiful models of yours so we can blow up some Romulan scum  :funny
