ok guys last time for those who dont wanna read, IM DOING BOTH MODELS, but since the ENT-C is the only BLUE IMPULSE ship there, Shall i do the Impulse FOR THE ENT-C Red still or Blue which is cannon, i think red as it keep's inline with others but blue is cannon, but just dont sit right with me

Well if your building both version then I say keep it canon. Blue for the Ambas MK1 (ent-c) and red for the Mk2 (yamamoto).

Anyone wanting red on the MK1 can cut and paste the engine texture from the MK2 anyway.

i agree, i voted red...

i dont care much for fed ships impulse engine to be a different color than red... even the Prometheus's white impulse engines kinda bother me a little bit lol

Well, what do you think, to be honest with the nacelle's that is my first and only try so im REALLY happy with how they turned out, BUT i am going to remake them they're over 2k each, and in all honesty where very tuff for me to build, the biggest problem is going to be the main hull, The pylon struts etc and the extra part that extrudes out is puzzeling me, also the curved deflector has me in a mix lol - but out of all of it my biggest problem is the schimatics im using are shit, the front and back view do not match up with any of the others so i don't know if my underside is extruded down too much or is it right? lol - but JUST to wet your whiskers here are 2 quick renders for you, If i can't find some better blueprints im going to import the old ambassador we have (lc's one) and take good renders of that at the correct posistions and use that for reference - any who, enough of the bitching, here we have her so far

Opinions welcome but im just trying new techniques, this is my First model for San Franciscos ship yards

Looking good bro! Blue is probably the correct choice for canon sake. Either way, it looks sweet so far! Cannot wait to see progress on this puppy! The Ambassador has been one of my favourite designs for a long time!

Just put two textures for the C's engine in the final submission and label the red one ***_alternate_glow.tga. Won't add much extra.

The tops of the nacelle coil sections should be flat, not rounded. Otherwise looking good.
