Bridge crew all in the middle
« on: February 18, 2011, 11:58:14 PM »
So I installed the CE Nebula Class refit, and ever since then all my bridge crew shows up in a cluster in the middle of the bridge.
Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks in advance.

IT would really be best if you can supply us with a 'console report' and maybe even scrreenshot, but the report is more important.

You have a bad script.

delete all the scripts from that mod

I know of the "CE Nebula class pack" but not a "CE Nebula Class refit"...

can you provide a link to this file?

Okay here is the cnsole report. I could'nt remember how to take a screen shot. I also have noticed all my system locations on galaxy charts are scattered no too insted of being in there defult locations, but the option for them to be in there defult locations is still selected.
I didnt mean to say nebula refit class, I just ment the nebula class be CE. I installed a few diferant Nebula classes.

I don't think the CE Nebula is your problem, it shouldn't have an effect on the bridges, did you install anything else recently?

Nebula EX
CR Nebula pack
USS Pheonex Nebula

did you make sure non of them over wrote each other?

also as I recall there was a patch released for CE's Nebula pack due to some files being corrupt for some.

Your scripts/Foundation.py seems to be broken. Did you recently overwrite this file?

Not that I am aware of, unless one of the mods over wrote it. As far as the mods over writig each other, I folled the readme's and did it the same way I have done hundreds of other in the past, and this is the first time I have had this particular problem. I know that one of the Nebulas had an extras.zip that came with it that I did not instal because there was a later version that was up there because the one that came with it was corrupted according to the author.
could I reinstal the scripts/foundation.py?

Well, unfortunately I reinstalled Foundation using the latest BCUT, and now Bridge commander won?t start up at all, it just displays a black screen with the cursor.

you got a console report earlier...

if now youre getting a BSOD, that means there is a script problem which the console report should yield...

There's a sticky in this forum which explains the process.
