About QB Autostart
« on: September 08, 2011, 02:47:54 PM »
I've only very recently installed the latest KM as one of my installs and haven't had that much of a chance to "get to know it" yet. But, I've had modded "regular" installs for a long time now and have only just gotten around to downloading QB Autostart. My questions before I install it are...

- What does it do?
- What differences does it have compared to regular QB?

I've read the readme but it doesn't really go into detail on its functions/features.

QB Autostart does not replace QB that's QBR. QB Autostart adds functionality to QB for many mods. (like transporters for instance)
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Is there a list of the full features that are in QB Autostart? And if so, what are those features?

i think Defiant is the best person to explain everything about QBAutostart... (tho perhaps Neb covered it)
as far as QBA mods, look inside your QBAutostart folder of your KM install...  QBA makes it so all those scripts will load (and function) when QB loads...

It is a framework which allows you to write your own BC scripts more easily without worrying about implementing autoload functionality yourself. It is a requirement for many scripts out there. You could say that it is an engine for any script which uses it.
