I like the uniqueness of it.

It is a bit "ugly" as has been said but... not that bad.

This will be a good addition to BC.

Honestly, I think with some good detailing and fleshing out, not to mention a good texture job, this ship CAN look good.

I'm guessing it's about the size of an Intrepid.  I think that open bay on the ventral side is the shuttle bay and everything else is for medical cargo.  My guess is she has some Type 11 shuttles on board, and being that it is from Star Trek: Invasion, can service Valkyrie type fighters.

I said "can service", in other words, if a Valkyrie is damaged it can land in the bay and be repaired or rearmed in a limited fashion.  I said nothing about it carrying them. :readme:

A bit more done.  I always envisioned the side pods as being full of the "hazardous" cargo, so if containment fails, they can always physically disconnect the pods from the rest of the ship.

Another thing to take notice of is the deflector dish.  It's based off of the Pasteur's.

Probably gonna be in the minority when I say I prefer this design to the Pasteur.

Some saucer detail.  Ventral ribbing is up next.

Very nice Farshot!

I think the edges of parts of the ship are too sharp though. I believe you would get more realism (and polygons  :banghead:) with more rounded off edges.

It's been my intention to keep this to the angular look of the Sovereign, but perhaps you're right.  Have any particular edges in mind to round off?

Well, the ones that seem to jump out at me the most are the sharp points in the front part of the new ribbing section you recently made. Also, perhaps the outer edge's of the same ribbing in question.

Those are just a couple of examples that stand out. You use your creative judgement for other sections... but keep it subtle... a little here, a little there goes a long way.

The Akira Class now has mapped phaser-ribbing. The Borg Tetragon is now ingame (somewhat unstable, might reduce texture size).
