TGA Specular texture map

i am trying to make my own ship in bridge commander, but i dont know how to make a specular tga map. some help here please.

making a spec map depends on which art program your using to make your textures with, and we'd need more information.

Ah, right perhaps i should have been clearer. what i should of said is my own ship registries. the race is federation, and the ship class is sovereign. the art programs i have are paint shop pro 7 and microsoft paint. the registry i currently have was a request on deviant art i made.

firstly your need to find the font's your need, some one here will be able to help you probably - next you need to ask the author of the ship to send you the BLANK ID map, then you should be able to work somthing out
