Thanks for the advice.  Your Vor'cha looks amazing by the way, and you're right, the poly count is coming up quickly.

I've built those pallets with greebles into easily removable sections so if the poly count is too high, I can easily replace them with flat panels that can have greebles textures on.  I can even use the mesh itself to render images of the greebles and then apply them to the model if necessary.

The detail on your ship is amazing!

No doubt, this ship will be worthy of the most battle-hardened Klingon warrior.

Thanks ViperM1.

Okay, now that I've got the ship's entire body fleshed out I'm ready to show off the ship as a whole.  Basically all I built today were the nacelles.  Consider this ship a post-nemesis Attack Cruiser to replace construction of Vor'cha Class ships.

I've tried to give the ship a bit more of a weighty feel than the Vor'cha but without the sheer girth of the Negh'var.  At the same time, I've tried to give it a predatory stance from the front to simulate the appearance of a B'rel hanging over you.  There are still lots of details, changes and additions to come, but the general design is now laid out.  Having done these renders I'm probably going to look next and making the ship's belly a bit heftier.

As for weapons systems, I'm modeling the actual systems in.  Currently the ship is armed with a forward torpedo launcher, 4 distruptor beams on the head, 2 beams and the aft of each nacelle, 2 disruptor cannons on the forward tips, and 2 cannons at the fronts of each nacelle.  She will have teeth!

Ideas are welcome!

Only change I would do is maybe swing the pylons slighly fore... just ever so slightly.

I'm not really a fan of those nacelles I don't think they fit with the rest of the ship :/

And maybe widen them a bit.  Beyond that?  Exquisite.  Looks like it'll pack a punch.

Love it. It looks to be a good fit in with DJ's 25th Century Galor and the Century.

Very nice design. (Nacelles are fine, though shouldn't the bussards be green, not red?)

I like it a lot! The only changes I'd make would be to widen the pylons a wee bit and give them a slight sweep to the rear.
Goddamn, that's probably going to be a lot of work in itself lol!  I like where this is going though.
I miss :bigdance:

Post Nemesis.  Negh'var, Vorcha... red bussards.

I like it, nacelles and all.  They have a slight Fed feel, which post-Dominion War kinda makes sense  :)

Post Nemesis.  Negh'var, Vorcha... red bussards.

A long time since I've seen any. I did think afterwards that the Vorcha's may have been red, but wasn't sure. All I remember of the Negh'var was BIG!!

well what I mean is I don't really like those greebles on the sides of the nacelles... they just don't feel right for a ship this advanced. :/

Like it a lot as it is.  I'd add a bit of "ribbing" maybe along the neck?

Great work!
