What Have I Missed?

After a few years of absence, I've started feeling nostalgic about Bridge Commander (probably helped by me fully watching TNG for the first time, now I've moved onto DS9 which I've barely seen).

From what I remember, when I left the scene the latest big thing due to be released was DJ Cutris' Galaxy Class, I think there was also a high detailed NX-01 in the works and a really early alpha of walking on the bridge.

Does anyone have a quick recap of the best mods from the past couple of years?

Wiley Coyote and Baz1701 are the biggest names floating around in terms of modding gods.  The Delta Quadrant Pack has finally been released and it's every bit as awesome as promised.

I'm doing my best to catch up to these guys.  Maybe one day.

The walking around on the bridge has been achieved and thanks to baz1701 and Lurok, we have brand-spanking new bridges(well, not so new anymore, but you get the idea) including a few that have broken boundaries that were once considered unreasonable.  Heck, Baz has a Star Destroyer bridge in the works, and Lurok made several small-craft sets for shuttles, runabouts, and even the Valkyrie fighter from Star Trek Invasion.

I think I heard about you, but if you've been out since the NX pack and Walk FX, you have gobs of catching up to do.

me, I'm the polish guy around here (the POLISH-as in the country-guy is a master texturer), or I was till mouths got opened, mine.  I have a few bits in the works, and am discovering tricks, but I'm not a modeller.  i have 6 retex and hardpoint jobbies and i believe a hundred betas under my belt, now.

there WILL be people telling you it's all dead.  it's not quite dead as you can see, but a lot of people have migrated to the fan-made Excalibur to get that game going.

Another thing you'll notice is the undeserved sense of modesty around here.  Except from me.  I know I suck. :funny  Seriously KCS, nothing wrong with just working on HP tweaks and retextures.  My first mod was a retexture of Khaliban's Connie model to make it look more like the actual movie.  Thing is, it wasn't long after that that we had a huge boom of Connie models coming out.
